John Sande IV
For over a decade, John has represented a vast array of industries before the Nevada legislature including healthcare, banking, gaming, energy, transportation, education, motor vehicle franchises, liquor distribution, and local governments. The diversity of John’s client-roster allows him to work extensively with various state agencies such as the Department of Health and Human Services. The Department of Motor Vehicles, The Division of Insurance, The Financial Institutions Division, The Department of Taxation, the Public Utilities Commission and many others. John has extensive experience representing clients before executive branches of government; his unique talents and relationships with top decision and lawmakers enable him to achieve many goals for his clients.
John graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science. John was both a scholar and member of the football team at Stanford, where he helped his team make it to the 2000 Rose Bowl. He then attended law school at Santa Clara University where he served as the senior comment’s editor for the award-winning Santa Clara Law Review. After law school, John returned to Nevada to pursue his career. John continues to be an active supporter of the community and has been a board member of several non-profit organizations including the Reno-Tahoe Young Professionals Network. John is a 20 under 40 award recipient in the Reno area, husband and father to two children.
